Sheriff Woody is the protagonist of the Toy Story films. He's a cowboy doll that takes his duty as Andy's favorite toy extremely seriously, and the other toys look to him for leadership. Furthermore, he is voiced by Tom Hanks, a well-known actor.
Woody's heart is always in the right spot, even if he may be a little weird at times. Tasked with protecting his own family of toys, Woody goes to great lengths to keep everyone safe. He never refuses any adventure. The way he looks after the other toys and Andy demonstrates that he has Pixar's largest heart.
