    Quiksilver

A well-known company, Quiksilver is mostly renowned for its surfwear, clothing, and other sporting goods. Alan Green and John Law established the business in Torquay, Australia, in the year 1969. Due to its inventive and fashionable boardshort designs, it was first known as "Quiksilver Boardshorts," and it immediately acquired popularity among surfers.

The name of the company was derived from Alan Green and John Law's "Quicksilver," a book that explored the development of surfing. Since snowboarding and surfing are both associated with Quiksilver, the company's emblem includes both a cresting wave and a snow-covered peak.

Quiksilver's success allowed the company to acquire other well-known brands in the action sports industry, such as Roxy (a women's surfwear brand) and DC Shoes (a popular skateboarding footwear and apparel brand).

    While Quiksilver
experienced significant growth and global recognition, it faced financial challenges in the late 2010s and underwent a bankruptcy restructuring. In 2017, the brand was acquired by Boardriders, Inc., which is the parent company of several other surf and skate brands, including Quiksilver, Roxy, and DC Shoes.

    Outerknown

Since Kelly Slater is the best surfer of all time and has been the face of the enduring surf company Quiksilver for a long time, practically anything he does attracts the most attention. As a result, the entire surf community was abuzz when Slater revealed that he was quitting Quik and launching his own brand. The next year, Slater introduced Outerknown, a project with well-known designer John Moore that places an emphasis on sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Outerknown is a higher-end fashion label that sets itself apart from conventional surf companies through its ethos, level of quality, and price range. It uses fabrics and thread made from recycled fishing nets and other environmentally friendly sources. In spite of this, any business founded by Kelly Slater is fundamentally a surf business, and Outerknown has since established a good reputation through supporting a number of world tour competitions. A women's collection was added in 2019 as well. This is also one of the best surf clothing in the world.

    Roark Revival

Founded in 2014 by Ryan Hitzel, Roark Revival aims to create apparel and gear for the modern-day explorer and adventurer. The brand takes its name from the character "Roark" from Ayn Rand's novel "The Fountainhead," who symbolizes an individualist and non-conformist spirit.

Roark Revival's product line includes a wide range of clothing, accessories, and gear designed to meet the needs of those who seek adventure and exploration. Their collections often feature rugged and functional clothing inspired by various cultures and regions around the world.

Roark began modestly but soon gained window space at a variety of surf-related shops, including Patagonia, Wavelengths, and Wetsand. It immediately started to expand, building its own reputation and assembling a crew of intrepid adventurers from a variety of fields, with surfing always at the center.

Instead of presenting the whitewashed image that the founders believed many of the more established businesses had fallen back on, the brand has worked since the beginning to portray surfing and surf travel as it truly is. In today's surf/adventure theme subculture, Roark is at the forefront of innovation and offers a different style for those who love to surf but also a lot more.

    Rhythm

Neal Purchase Jr. is a legendary surfer from Australia's East Coast, a well-known shaper, a fan of unconventional surfboards, and one of the most fashionable wave riders in sports history. He also co-founded Rhythm in 2003, one of the sport's newest alternative brands, paving the path for the neo-hipster trend that would eventually transform the surf business.

Rhythm, a brand that draws inspiration from surf, travel, art, and music, is established in Burleigh Heads, the epicenter of Australia's surf culture, but it has spread its message throughout the world and grown to play a significant role in the emerging beach lifestyle fashion trend.

They are very proud of Rhythm's Classics Swimwear, which was created to complement your swimwear collection with a contemporary collection of classic swim shapes.

Their Classics Swimwear line is constructed from high-end Italian Carvico VITA, which is 100% ECONYL® regenerated nylon and is made from post-consumer materials including ocean debris, abandoned fishing nets, and waste fabric that would otherwise go to the garbage.

    Katin

Katin has a distinctive and interesting past. Kanvas by Katin was a firm founded in 1954 by Walter and Nancy Katin that produced canvas boat covers. Because of how durable their coverings were, a number of their friends asked the Katins if they could use their canvas to make them boat shorts after a few years.

Although the shorts were reliable and well-liked, Walter chose to stick with boat coverings. But when a young Corky Carroll entered Walter's shop and requested that Walter make him some canvas board shorts for surfing, everything changed. Corky Carroll quickly established himself as the first professional surfer in history, and Katin quickly rose to the top of the California board short market.

By the 1960s, Katins had become a staple of popular surf culture. The brand was maintained by Nancy after Walter's death in 1967, and some of the best and most renowned surfers in the world, including Gerry Lopez, Shaun Thomson, and Eddie Aikau, used Katin shorts. Until her death in 1986, Nancy ran the company out of the same shop. Sato Hughes, the original seamstress of the business, received the Katin brand as a bequest and now runs it out of the same store.

Despite expanding into a line of fashionable graphic t-shirts, shirts, flannels, hats, and other surfer-approved accessories, Katin continues to produce its renowned surf trunks.
