Roark Revival

Founded in 2014 by Ryan Hitzel, Roark Revival aims to create apparel and gear for the modern-day explorer and adventurer. The brand takes its name from the character "Roark" from Ayn Rand's novel "The Fountainhead," who symbolizes an individualist and non-conformist spirit.

Roark Revival's product line includes a wide range of clothing, accessories, and gear designed to meet the needs of those who seek adventure and exploration. Their collections often feature rugged and functional clothing inspired by various cultures and regions around the world.

Roark began modestly but soon gained window space at a variety of surf-related shops, including Patagonia, Wavelengths, and Wetsand. It immediately started to expand, building its own reputation and assembling a crew of intrepid adventurers from a variety of fields, with surfing always at the center.

Instead of presenting the whitewashed image that the founders believed many of the more established businesses had fallen back on, the brand has worked since the beginning to portray surfing and surf travel as it truly is. In today's surf/adventure theme subculture, Roark is at the forefront of innovation and offers a different style for those who love to surf but also a lot more.
