  1. Cabrits National Park is on a peninsula in the north of the Caribbean island of Dominica. The park protects the tropical forest, coral reefs, and wetlands with hiking trails and an English garrison called Fort Shirley. Cabrits National Park exploration 1,313 acres, it was established in 1986. Cabrits is the last stop on the Waitukubuli Trail which originates in the southern village of Scott's Head.

  3. Emerald Pool is The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Morne Trois Piton National Park is home to the enchanting Emerald Pool. Many waterfall grottos can be found along the road to Castle Bruce, for visitors it is an easy 30-minute hike through the rainforest.   4. Freshwater Lake is one of the largest of Dominica's four lakes, which is located at just over 2,500 ft above sea level and is the natural source of the Roseau River. Freshwater Lake is a half-day hike into Morne Trois Pitons National Park from the village of Laudat.
