The famous village called Nzulezu on stilts is located 90km west of Takoradi in Ghana about two hours’ drive from the beautiful beaches of Busua. This is one of Ghana's most distinctive and picturesque locations. In English, the name means 'water's surface.' It's a fascinating town in the middle of Lake Tadane where community life thrives.

The entire village is built on stilts, and life in the village has adapted to the lake's watery environment. According to legend, the settlement was founded in the seventeenth century as a safe haven for locals fleeing slave raiders. Farmers and their families make up the majority of the village's population, which numbers roughly 400-500 people. With its own chief, shops, schools, churches, and a cinema plaza, this watery hamlet is remarkably self-sufficient. The houses are built on silts that are made from coconut trees and other hardwoods.

Volta Lake, located in Ghana's south-east, is the world's largest man-made lake. With a surface area of 8,502 km2, it is the world's largest reservoir by surface area and the fourth largest by volume (148 km3). Its location is really beautiful and a must-visit when you come to Ghana. Volta Lake is in a tropical area, and the climate is pleasantly warm throughout the year. It is an attractive destination for tourists, and the small towns near the dam are developing as a result.

When visiting the place, you can visit Dodi Island. People can either fish in certain areas of the lake or take a trip to the dam. Exotic and luxurious hotels have been built near the lake to serve tourists who want to spend quality time by the natural retreat. Attempts are also being made to increase the region's tourism level. However, for the time being, this is primarily aimed at the domestic market.

The largest wildlife sanctuary in Ghana is Mole National Park. At an elevation of 150 meters, the park is located in Ghana's Savannah region, on savanna and riparian ecosystems, with a high escarpment creating the park's southern boundary. The park's entrance is located at Larabanga, a local town.

Tourists can see several different types of animals including roan antelope, buffalo, elephants, hyenas, leopards, etc. They may also spot lions from time to time. The park is home to over 250 different bird species, which is fantastic for bird watchers. If you can, try to visit the park during the dry season which lasts from January to March to catch most of the animals as they come to drink water. While at Mole National Park, you should also visit the ancient mud-and-stick mosque at Larabanga. This mosque is extraordinarily beautiful, but because of the hassle factor at Larabanga, you should have your guide with you upon arrival.

Kokrobite beach is yet another beach that will catch your attention when you are in Ghana. Kokrobite is a town along the Atlantic coast, 30 km (19 mi) to the west of Accra, the capital city of Ghana. The Academy of African Music and Art, which is also located at this site, attracts a large number of people who are interested in the creative side of life. People can book the resorts which provide a beautiful view of the beach. The ‘Homowo’ festival held in the month of May is also a popular time when tourists flock to this beach destination.
