Ka Choung Waterfall

Ka Choung waterfall is situated in Ratanakiri province, Cambodia. The falls lie about 7 kilometers to the northwest of Banlung, the provincial seat, in the Ban Lung District. The year-round O'Kan Teung creek, which is what creates the 12-meter-high waterfall, flows through the area. Small towns and villages, as well as serene chaparral, surround it. The Cambodian Kreung ethnic group resides in this region as well. You should prepare yourself for some walking since the venue is somewhat spread out.

There is vegetation all around this waterfall. Nearby are smaller towns and villages. To get here, though, requires a long journey, but it is unquestionably worthwhile. It is not a straightforward waterfall, but it has a broad flow that draws your attention from all sides. One of the most well-known waterfalls in Cambodia is this one. Prepare yourself with the appropriate footwear and an additional change of clothes because getting to the waterfall, which is hidden deep within the trees, will involve a lot of walking. Tatai Waterfall

Tatai Waterfall is a sizable stone cascade found in the Koh Kong province's Tatai river, surrounded by a verdant jungle environment. Although the waterfall is constantly flowing, during the dry season you can swim in the pools that have developed naturally at the base of the cascade, and because of the reduced water flow, you can stroll across the ledge. The river runs with all of its force during the rainy season, and the waterfall is even more impressive as furious, white-foamed water cascades down a 4-meter drop.

Since the river's source is in the isolated Cardamom Mountains, where there are few habitations, the water in the river is exceptionally clean. You may travel to the waterfall by road or by boat, but taking the boat is much more enjoyable because you get to view some great landscapes. It takes around an hour to travel from the Tatai bridge to the waterfall (by slow boat).

To get to the waterfall, you can either take the $15 half-day community boat or a private boat from one of the eco resorts nearby, though charges will be significantly higher and vary depending on which eco-resort you choose.

Kbal Chhay Waterfall

Kbal Chhay Waterfall is located in southwest Cambodia, some 7 km from the city of Sihanoukville, and another 9 km down a red-dust road. Kbal Chhay was a source of clean water until 1963, but the arrangement came to an end when it was used as a Khmer Rouge hideout. This is one of the best waterfalls to visit in Cambodia.

The Kok An Company created Kbal Chhay in 1998. By building a road there, they made the area a tourism destination for both domestic and foreign visitors. Having taken back control of the location, the Royal Government of Cambodia now uses it to provide clean water to the adjacent metropolis.

You can sit in the swing chairs and take in the sight and sound of the Kbal Chhay waterfall. On the balconies, you can rest or have a picnic. After it has rained, the waterfall seems to become even more stunning. You can swim here with the locals and possibly make some new acquaintances because the water is clear.

Popokvil Waterfall
