The Cambodian Kreung ethnic group resides in this region as well. You should prepare yourself for some walking since the venue is somewhat spread out.

There is vegetation all around this waterfall. Nearby are smaller towns and villages. To get here, though, requires a long journey, but it is unquestionably worthwhile. It is not a straightforward waterfall, but it has a broad flow that draws your attention from all sides. One of the most well-known waterfalls in Cambodia is this one. 2. Tatai Waterfall is a sizable stone cascade found in the Koh Kong province's Tatai river, surrounded by a verdant jungle environment. Although the waterfall is constantly flowing, during the dry season you can swim in the pools that have developed naturally at the base of the cascade, and because of the reduced water flow, you can stroll across the ledge. The river runs with all of its force during the rainy season, and the waterfall is even more impressive as furious, white-foamed water cascades down a 4-meter drop.

Since the river's source is in the isolated Cardamom Mountains, where there are few habitations, the water in the river is exceptionally clean. You may travel to the waterfall by road or by boat, but taking the boat is much more enjoyable because you get to view some great landscapes. It takes around an hour to travel from the Tatai bridge to the waterfall (by slow boat).

To get to the waterfall, you can either take the $15 half-day community boat or a private boat from one of the eco resorts nearby, though charges will be significantly higher and vary depending on which eco-resort you choose.
