Japanese beer brewing company Sapporo Breweries Ltd. was established in 1876. The oldest beer brand in Japan is Sapporo. Brewer Seibei Nakagawa produced the first batch of it in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, in 1876. Sapporo Breweries' global headquarters are located in Ebisu, Shibuya, Tokyo.
