    Al Ain

    Al Ain is a city in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi's Eastern Region, adjacent to the town of Al-Buraimi, on the UAE's border with Oman. It is the UAE's largest inland city, the fourth-largest city (after Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah), and the second-largest city in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The freeways that connect Al-Ain, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai form a geographic triangle in the country, with each city approximately 130 kilometers (81 miles) apart.

Palm Islands, one of the world's most well-known man-made archipelagos, consists of three islands: Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali, and Deira Island, the latter of which is still under construction.
