Abu Musa Island
Abu Musa is the most southern Iranian island in the Persian Gulf, as well as the one closest to the equator. The climate in Abu Musa is very hot and humid, with little variation throughout the year. Other types of wildlife on the island include sea turtles that come to Abu Musa beach to lay eggs, sea swallows that lay eggs on the rocks near the beach, and other mammals such as rabbits.
