Hengam Island

Hengam Island is located on Qeshm Island's southern coast. It has a 36-kilometer area and looks like a truncated cone when viewed on a map. While on Hengam Island, you can participate in and enjoy a variety of activities. Dolphin watching may be the main attraction of Hengam Island, as these intelligent and beautiful creatures are not found everywhere. The best part is that, unlike aquariums and marine parks, you do not have to pay to see dolphins. You might come across them on your way to Hengam Island. Mornings and between October and May are the best times to see dolphins.

In addition, Hengam Island is home to one of the Persian Gulf's most beautiful beaches. Because of the island's crystal clear water, it's easy to spot beautiful and colourful fish in the water. Aside from these locations, Silver Beach is one of the most distinctive sights in Hengam. The presence of shiny minerals in the sands of this beach causes them to shine. It's worth noting that the water glows blue at night during certain times of the year due to the phytoplankton that lives there. The Hengam bazaar has a wide variety of interesting items to purchase.
