Qeshm Island, Gheshm
Qeshm Island, one of the most gorgeous islands in Iran, is located in Hormozgan province. Because of its pristine and beautiful nature, this southern island has long been a popular tourist destination for both Iranians and foreign tourists. The climate on Qeshm Island is warm and humid due to its location in the country's south. It is said that the hottest days on the island are from July to September, and the best time to visit Qeshm is in January and February, when the highest temperature on the island is around 30 degrees and the lowest is around 15 degrees.
In comparison to the other Persian Gulf islands, Qeshm Island has the most coasts. The Qeshm coastal diversity includes turtles, dolphins, and other animal habitats such as rocky, sand, and mud shores and mangrove forests. On this lovely island, there is the only crocodile breeding farm. One-half of the island has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and it is home to some incredible natural wonders. Qeshm Island also has some unique traditional cultures that you won't find anywhere else in Iran.
