There are lots of activities to do in Suriname. A coffee plantation in the Commewijne area is known as Frederiksdorp. Bicycles can easily visit the plantation. The plantation may be visited with a guide, who will show you around and point out historical items. The previous housing of the crew, for example, still stands and is currently utilized as a restaurant. The restaurant is part of the same-named lodging, where tourists may spend the night in traditional old-Dutch dwellings.

Alkmaar is 20 minutes distant from Fort Nieuw-Amsterdam. During the Second Anglo-Dutch War, which lasted from 1665 to 1667, the fort was erected for defence. The fort sits near the ocean, at the junction of the Commewijne and Suriname Rivers. It is a popular tourist destination for those interested in learning more about the country's past.

In Nieuw Nickerie, Bigi Pan is a protected nature reserve. The park is home to a variety of exotic birds. Here, bird watchers and anglers will have a blast. With a little luck, you may view the numerous fisherman at work from the park, which is located on the shore. The rest of the nature reserve is primarily made up of mangroves and marshes.

Galibi is a famous beach location as well. As a result, it is one of Suriname's most attractive beach locations. With its snow-white beaches, sparkling water, and lush palm palms, this is an ideal place to unwind with tons of activities.
