Grant Achatz's three-Michelin-starred restaurant has consistently finished first or second in the annual poll, which is decided by Elite Traveler's jet-set readership. The Alinea group now has several locations (including Next, another restaurant on this list), but it is at this original outpost that Achatz combines all of his inventive skills.
