Amber Heard
American actress, activist, and humanitarian named Amber Heard. She made her acting debut in the 2006 horror movie All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, and since then, she's been in movies including The Ward (2010), Drive Angry (2011), and London Fields (2018).
She competed in beauty pageants as well, however she later stated that she could no longer "support the objectification" as an adult. Heard, who was raised Catholic, started identifying as an atheist when she was sixteen, following the death of her best friend in a car accident. The next year, Heard left her Catholic high school to pursue an acting career in Los Angeles because she was no longer at home in "conservative, God-fearing Texas." She finally completed a home study course and received a certificate.
Heard played Charlize Theron's character in flashbacks in the Academy Award-nominated movie North Country (2005). Syrup (2013), The Herald of Hell (2011) 3D, The Joneses (2009), Unwavering (2008), The Young Criminal (2006), and Friday Night Lights (2004) are just a few of her earlier film credits. Heard has major roles on Hidden Palms (2007) for The CW and guest featured on Californication (2007) for Showtime and Offense (2005) for CBS.
She gained notoriety in 2008 for her part in Pineapple Express, a comedy starring James Franco and Seth Rogen. Heard won a Young Hollywood Award in 2008 for her ground-breaking work in "Pineapple Express".
Heard works closely with Amnesty International from her home in Los Angeles. She wed actor Johnny Depp in 2015; their marriage ended in divorce in 2017.
