Amway

Amway is a multi-level marketing (MLM) business based in the United States that distributes home care, beauty, and health products. The business is headquartered in Ada, Michigan, and was established in 1959 by Jay Van Andel and Richard DeVos. Amway and its affiliated businesses under Alticor reported $8.9 billion in sales for the year 2019. In terms of revenue, it is the biggest multi-level marketing organization worldwide. In more than a hundred countries and territories, it operates through a number of linked companies.

Amway has been under investigation for suspected pyramid scheme operations in a number of jurisdictions and by organizations including the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Although it has spent tens of millions of dollars to resolve these claims, it has never been proven guilty.
