Antilia

The Ambani family is the epitome of opulence in India, and their home reflects this. Mukesh Ambani, India's richest man, is the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited, a Fortune Global 500 company.

The structure is 400,000 square feet in size and 27 stories tall. Antilia was designed to withstand a category 8 earthquake and includes 3 helipads, a 50-seat movie theater, 6 levels of underground parking, multiple swimming pools, yoga and dance studios, and an ice cream parlor. You can't go wrong with an ice cream parlor in your own home.

To keep the Antilia house running on a daily basis, at least 400 people are required. In addition, the house was named after the mythical island of "Antillia," and the Perkins and Will design firm took four years to complete the project.
