Ellison Estate
Larry Ellison, co-founder of Oracle and the world's seventh richest man, owns this 23-acre estate. He appears to be quite tasteful, despite being one of the world's wealthiest men. He had a vision of erecting an ancient Japanese structure in the United States, and he was successful. He modeled his house after the Emperor's Palace in Japan.
The Ellison estate consists of ten distinct properties, including a tea house, a bathhouse, a man-made lake, a Koi pond, and expensive trees such as maple cherry blossom oaks and redwoods that surround the area. These trees are beautifully spread throughout the grounds, giving it an authentic ancient Japanese feel, just as Ellison intended.
This is one of the world's most expensive homes.
