ArtRage

ArtRage is a bitmap graphics editor for digital painting created by Ambient Design Ltd. It is currently in version 6, supports Windows, macOS, Apple, and Android mobile devices, and is available in multiple languages. It caters to all ages and skill levels, from children to professional artists.

With ArtRage, you can show your artistry and imagination through oil paintings, water paintings, and spray paintings on canvas. The software is compatible with PSD files (of Photoshop) as well as filters (Filter) and supports Layers. ArtRage provides many real-world drawing tools, so you can use them easily. Oil brushes and Paint rollers create strokes that can be blended with other colors below the brush. The paint tube creates thick blobs or stripes of paint that can be spread out with the Knife Palette. The Watercolor Brush creates subtle, matte strokes for working with wet canvases and produces wet color gradations.

Airbrushing creates many subtle shades of color without affecting the texture of the strokes. ArtRage handles more than just the color of the paint on the canvas. The application has the ability to understand the thickness, wettability, and contrast of the paint. This allows you to feel like you are working with real tools, not digital ones.
