In 2003, the Arturo Fuente Tobacco Company released limited edition cigars to commemorate the Opus X, one of their first cigars. Arturo Fuente Opus X is in high demand, and they are extremely difficult to find due to the limited production each year. Many cigar collectors all over the world were eager to get their hands on this one-of-a-kind piece. These cigars are made from Dominican tobacco and have a distinct flavor. This cigar is quite large, measuring approximately 7 inches in length. Each box contains 20 of these fantastic cigars, each with a bold blend and a dark, oily wrapper.
The humidors, however, are the real draw for the Opus X cigars. They were produced in a limited edition of 100, with 50 red madrona veneers, 40 yellow eye maple veneers, and 10 macassar veneers. If you want to buy this cigar, you'll have to pay $30,000/Box.
OpusX was previously known as ProjectX, a reference to Ed Wood's schlock sci-fi disaster film Plan 9 From Outer Space. He changed the name to sound sexier.
