Gurkha Royal Courtesan Cigar

The Gurkha Royal Courtesan Cigar is the most expensive cigar. The Royal Courtesan by Gurkha is well-known throughout the smoking world for being the only cigar with a seven-figure price tag (per cigar, not per box). Gurkha Cigars manufactures nearly 12 million cigars per year, including the Royal Courtesan. It is the most expensive cigar in the world, costing $1.36 million per stick, and it is quite impressive.

Each cigar is handcrafted in the Dominican Republic and Honduras and filled with a rare Himalayan tobacco that has been watered with Fiji water. It is then wrapped in a gold leaf held by a five-carat diamond-studded band before being infused with Remy Martin's Black Pearl Louis XIII (which costs $224,000 per bottle).

To avoid distraction, all of its artisans are required to work blindfolded. This cigar is so valuable that whenever one is ordered, a personal messenger wearing white gloves hand-delivers it to its new owner (and, no doubt, an expression of the strictest solemnity).
