Asian Fusion Cafe serves traditional Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese foods; you'll even find a decent sushi menu under the direction of chef and co-owner Lek Ratanavong, who learned to cook with her grandmother in the Loei Province of Northern Thailand. Ratanavong brings it all together in this simple restaurant after spending more than 20 years honing her own take on grandma's dishes. The outcome? Thai specialties include chargrilled ka lua lamb with rare Thai herbs and deboned roasted duck with red curry.

Lek Ratanavong, who was raised by her grandmother in the Loei Province in Northern Thailand, spent many years honing the fundamentals of Thai cuisine. Lek spent more than 20 years in the restaurant business after arriving in the US, honing her craft and perfecting her homemade dishes. Asian Fusion Café, which launched in Palmetto Bay in 2005, has been praised for its innovative fusion of Asian dishes and has been in the vanguard of Asian cuisine.
