Atuh Beach

Atuh Beach, located in the eastern portion of Nusa Penida Island in the Indian Ocean, is a true gem. The amazing vistas lure tourists and residents to this remote and unpopulated beach. Tall white cliffs and green bushes frame the gleaming turquoise ocean.

Two high limestone cliffs, Nusa Batupadasan and Nusa Batuba, are located in the water not far from the shore. A natural cliff arch, which is frequently used as a jumping off point, is particularly uncommon. Swimming far from the coast can be risky because there is no rescue assistance.

Atuh Beach is a snow-white sand beach with a tiny entrance, although the depth is steadily growing. Because of the surrounding cliffs, the blue ocean is typically tranquil. The Thousand Islands observation platform and the Rumah Pohon Tree House, both located near Atuh and affording breathtaking views of the ocean, cliffs, and beach, are equally impressive.

Because it is difficult to reach, this location is commonly referred to as "secret beach." To get around the cliffs, you'll have to descend steep stairs or take tiny mountain trails. There are no restaurants or showers in this portion of the island because of the lack of infrastructure. Locals, on the other hand, sell drinks and snacks.
