Basil’s Bar Mustique
Basil's Bar is widely known as the best restaurant in St Vincent & the Grenadines. It has been the cultural heartbeat of Mustique for than fifty years, where generations of residents, visitors, fishermen, and pirates come to let their hair down. Whether you're searching for a fantastic lunch overlooking the sea, a drink at the bar as the sun sets, or a martini in between dances at Jump Up, Basil's welcomes you with open arms. The self-described "landmark destination for drinks" has a long history of inviting everyone from fishermen to members of the British Royal Family, who all assemble on the wooden jetty to sip cocktails and mingle as the yachts pass by and the sun sets over Britannia Bay.
All year long, Basil's Bar hosts a diverse mix of live music, guest DJ nights, and themed parties. The Mustique Blues Festival is the pinnacle of the year, with some of the biggest names in the blues world performing. Lunch, dinner, and cocktails are served everyday from 10 a.m. until midnight. Join them for Taco and Tequila Thursdays, where they serve you the best tacos and tequila alongside Latin American music and dancing.

Must try: Hurricane David, a house cocktail that blends the rum-soaked flavours of the Caribbean with vodka and Kahlua. Upon its creation, the Hurricane David quickly found its way onto plenty of ‘top cocktails of the summer’ lists.
