Be present
You never know when the perfect posture may appear, and that's what yoga is all about – living at the moment! It's about learning to enjoy the present moment rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future.
Try to focus on each breath, listen to each beat of the heart and let an empty brain, mind not thinking about the sadness and pressure in life. The moment in the present is the precious and worthy of attention.
However, if you're having a hard time focusing on the present because of life's problems, create a few pre-workout rituals. For example, light a candle with your favorite scent next to the room, or turn on some melodious music. They will bring you back to reality.
Most yoga teachers encourage students to focus on the trip rather than the destination and to embrace the practice, and we should all pay attention. This mindset will help you not panic out when things don't go your way, and you'll be able to accept anything that comes your way with open arms – good, bad, and ugly!
