Beckett's Table is a refined comfort cuisine restaurant that is helping to build the reputation of its location in central Phoenix. When chef Justin Beckett and his wife Michelle met sommeliers Katie and Scott Stephens in 2002, they became fast friends. For years, they bonded over family dinners and the thrill of combining wine with each of their creations, until fate said, "What if we established our own restaurant?" one night. They frantically scrawled down everything they cherished about their nights together, from the first course to napkin choosing, with wine glass and notebook in hand. Everyone was in before the end of the night, thanks to their enthusiastic laundry list. Beckett’s Table opened in 2010 in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix, where fresh ingredients arrive from farms no farther than 30 miles of its kitchen, and its wine list has been created with such passion and attention to detail that it has won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for the past ten years in a row.
