Belle Isle has consistently offered a superb half-pound lobster roll, starting with its modest origins in an Eastie hut and continuing to their current vast waterfront location in Winthrop. It is served on a griddled bread with your choice of sides and is dressed with a hint of mayo and some beautiful crunchy lettuce. Enjoy the Boston skyline while you eat a substantial meal. There is an ATM on the premises, however it only accepts cash.

Why would you choose to drive to the sleepy beach village of Winthrop rather than take advantage of the city's great seafood dining options? The largest lobster roll in the Greater Boston area, to put it simply. Other seafood dishes are also straightforward and made with fresh ingredients; a lot of the fish is caught just off a wharf nearby. Given the shack's proximity to the sea, take a water taxi to get the whole experience, especially now that beer and wine are available. It will seem as though you have transported to the Cape.
