Betina Cave Beach
Now let’s consider a beach that can only be reached by following a secret trial. You will need a kayak or a water taxi to get to this sea-access-only beach, which is excellent for romantic honeymoon getaways and is hidden beneath a natural cave. Betina Cave Beach is in Dubrovnik itself, a little east of the old town, which is known for its rooftops. The beach is about twenty meters from the road, shielded by the rocky coast's strong and majestic vaults. The beach is only thirty meters long and thirty meters wide.
In bright weather, the water along Betina Cave Beach is clear and practically blue. Swimming here, however, is challenging due to the steep stony bottom and varying depths. Because there are no trails or steps, you can only get there by sea. You will avoid the heat by getting some vitamin D, and if you go early or late in the day, you will not have to compete with other couples who have the same idea. You should be aware that there is not much here—just some sand—so bring your own blankets, snacks, and drinks.
