Blackwoods Gin
Scottish gin called Blackwoods Gin started being made in the Shetland Islands in 2002. Caroline Whitfield established the distillery with the goal of producing a gin that was influenced by the distinctive Shetland environment and climate.
A historic copper pot still and a mixture of botanicals hand-selected from the Shetland Islands are used to create the gin. These herbal ingredients include liquorice root, orris root, lemon peel, grapefruit peel, coriander, angelica root, and juniper.
Blackwoods Gin is a "vintage" gin, which implies that the flavor of each batch varies significantly according to the season and other factors throughout the year. Because of this, every vintage has its own personality.
The Vintage Dry Gin is the most well-liked offering from Blackwoods Gin. This gin has a smooth, well-balanced flavor and is a traditional London Dry Gin. It is excellent for cocktails as well as straight up drinking. Blackwoods Gin has a price range of $30 to $50 per bottle.
