Isle of Barra Distillers
On the Isle of Barra in Scotland's Outer Hebrides, there is a family-run distillery called the Isle of Barra Distillers. It is Scotland's distillery located the furthest west. Michael and Katie Morrison, a husband and wife combination, launched the distillery in 2017.
The Barra Atlantic Gin, which is created with 12 botanicals including juniper, coriander, angelica, and lemon peel, is the distillery's signature item. The adjacent spring water is used to distill the gin, which is subsequently bottled at 43% ABV.
The Barra Gold Cave Gin is a limited-edition gin made by the distillery. This gin has a more nuanced flavor profile because it spends a year maturing in oak barrels.
Online and at a few chosen Scottish merchants, you can buy Isle of Barra Distillers products. The retail cost of the Barra Atlantic Gin is approximately £35, whilst the cost of the Barra Gold Cave Gin is approximately £60.
