Boeing 747-430
Washbasins made of pure gold and Lalique crystal are just the beginning of the Sultan of Brunei's private jet's level of luxury. He spent roughly $100 million through Lufthansa and then another $120 million to customize the aircraft to his preferences. He is thought to be the world's wealthiest monarch.
Boeing 747-430 features enormous teal recliners and unusual patterned floors, which set it apart from other private jets. This isn't the Sultan's sole private jet - he has at least a couple more - but it is the largest.
This sultan owns a Boeing 747-430 that cost over $220 million to refurbish. It has been upgraded to carry over 345 passengers and features actual gold accents in the living area, washroom, and bedroom.
