Bookaholic Library

Bookaholic Library was founded by a pair of Mangalore retirees who transformed a convenience shop into a library 7-8 years ago. Mr. Fernandes, the proprietor, asserts that income is not the motivation, but rather a passion for books. His whole family are avid readers; therefore, the library originally comprised their own set of books and periodicals.

Bookaholic Library seeks to promote reading habits among individuals of all ages, particularly youngsters. From romance to inspirational books, fantasy, business, biographies, comics, periodicals, etc., you'll find them all here. Select from the more than 10,000 works of literature in their library. There is also a tiny stack of used books for sale, should you feel the need to purchase one

The monthly membership fee is Rs 200, with a refundable down payment of Rs 300. There is no restriction on the number of books you may check out at once (however, the library might be too small for sitting and reading).
