Jagtag Model Library

The Jagtap Model Library is one of the best libraries in Pune. It has been around since 2006 and is maintained by Ulka Awasthi. The library is located in the Aundh neighborhood of the city. The Jagtap Model Library boasts a collection of nearly 4,000 English and Marathi books that encompass categories such as fiction, nonfiction, autobiography, biography, and self-help. Also, science, literature, history, art, politics, and religion are only a few among thousands of topics covered by the accessible works. Famous authors such as George Eliot and Rider Haggard are featured in a particular area of rare books. In addition, guests may peruse national and international periodicals.

There are only 5 to 6 seats available in the library at any one moment due to space constraints. However, visitors are free to browse the aisles of books and bide their time reading them. A subscription to the library costs Rs 200 per month and allows customers to check out one book or periodical for eight days. This program is ideal for avid readers.
