BrickHouse Ceramic Art Center

All skill levels can take classes at BrickHouse in both hand building and wheel tossing. Additionally, the students will get knowledge of fundamental glazing methods and firing procedures.

The best place to start if you've never worked with clay before is with hand building. Students will gain the knowledge and abilities necessary to build forms using the slab, coil, and pinch methods in these classes. Through varied group projects, the hand building lessons cover a broad range of fundamental hand building techniques and enable students of all skill levels to bring their unique ideas to life with the aid of the teacher.

The wheel classroom, which has 12 wheels, is where students gain the knowledge and abilities necessary to "throw" and trim a pot. Wheel throwing might appear simple in videos, but remember that practice makes perfect. This training calls for tolerance, an open mind, and, of course, a sense of humor for when things go wrong.
