British Airways
British Airways (BA) is the United Kingdom's flag carrier airline. Its headquarters are in London, England, near Heathrow Airport, which serves as its primary hub. In terms of fleet size and passengers carried, the airline is second only to easyJet in the United Kingdom. BA amalgamated with Iberia in January 2011, becoming the International Airlines Group (IAG), a holding corporation based in Madrid, Spain. In terms of yearly revenue, IAG is the world's third-largest airline group and Europe's second-largest. It is a component of the FTSE 100 Index and is traded on the London Stock Exchange. British Airways is the first passenger airline to generate more than $1 billion in revenue from a single air route in a single year.
British Airways has seen several ups and downs over its entire working history. It is a more costly tiny airline than any of the other airlines that operate in Europe. It provides the most luxurious flat beds in the first class sector, as well as giant LED screens for entertainment and the most up-to-date buses for transporting passengers to various places. It has been ranked in the 17th position in the overall ranking of airlines of the world.
