Bukit Lima Forest Park

Bukit Lima Forest Park has been open to the public since 2001. It is in the heart of Sibu town, near the Kampung Sentosa resettlement. The recreational peat swamp wooden plank walk was destroyed by fire in July 2014, and it was rebuilt in September of that year with 600 kelapayan samples. It is well-known among visitors for its jungle trails, which are suitable for both forest walks and jogging. It allows visitors to explore the peat swamp forest and interact with nature and wildlife.

The park is home to 39 different bird species. Barbets, babblers, flowerpeckers, broadbills, sunbirds, and bulbuls are the most common bird species recorded in the park. Malayan weasels, Sambar deer, Giant squirrel and Plaintain squirrel, Treeshrews, Pangolins, Slow lorises, and Long-tailed macaques are also found here.
