Cañon de Tanamá
When you go canyoning in Puerto Rico, you may pack a lot of action and many more memories! Canyoning, also known as canyoneering, is a popular outdoor sport that involves rappelling, trekking, body rafting, and other techniques to explore gorges.
There are several levels, ranging from easy to difficult, that can be completed in various places of the world, and Puerto Rico is no exception. The island's Class 1 (simple) rivers and rock towers give the perfect setting for a safe, exhilarating, and environmentally friendly expedition.
Although no prior experience is required and the difficulty level is moderate, it is advised that you be in good physical shape, free of medical or physical issues, and be able to swim. It is also not recommended for pregnant women to partake in these activities.
