Cape Eye Hospital
The Cape Eye Hospital was founded in 1994 by a group of top ophthalmologists who saw a need for a specialized eye care facility in Cape Town. It was the first dedicated eye hospital in the Western Cape and only the second in the country.
The hospital is outfitted with cutting-edge equipment and facilities to provide the greatest in-patient treatment possible.
In addition to the initial 4-theatre, 30-bed capacity, the hospital recently expanded and inaugurated Cape Eye Laser, one of the most modern facilities on the continent, late in 2014. The eye laser suite is equipped with the most recent excimer laser technology, cutting-edge diagnostic equipment, and a 90-seat auditorium.
Their ophthalmic surgeons and nursing personnel are among the most skilled and knowledgeable in their areas.
They provide therapy for all ocular disorders, including anterior segment, refractive, vitreoretinal, and oculoplastic surgery. The surgeons obtain the greatest results by employing cutting-edge technology and approaches. Among the treatments are:
