Capurgana and Sapzurro
Capurgana and Sapzurro are two settlements in Colombia's far north, nestled in the Choco region's far reaches near the Panamanian border. Capurgana and Sapzurro are charming hideaways from the rest of the country, with a variety of excellent beaches, great diving spots, and delicious seafood.
The coral reefs have been preserved in this place because they are less visited than other reefs in Colombia. This has more than 30 dive sites, each with its own set of attractions for visitors. The best time to visit this dive spot is between May and November for the best experience. It is not a single location, but two adjacent towns, so you will be killing two birds with one stone. The only way to get there is by boat. It is, however, quickly gaining popularity. Visit now, before it becomes overdeveloped and crowded. The towns are also known for their pristine beaches and exciting nightlife, in addition to their diving destinations.
