San Andres Island
San Andres Island is the next spot on the list of the best dive sites that Toplist has compiled for you. Because it is a large island close to Nicaragua, some people believe it is no longer a part of Colombia. Bogota is only about two hours away by plane. Only a small portion of the island is land, and the rest is water, leaving you with a plethora of dive sites to choose from.
Because of the island's size, you could spend a week here and still not have enough time to see everything it has to offer. The water temperature is generally 29 degrees Celsius. While diving is possible all year, February is one of the best months to visit San Andres Island. Trampa de Tortugas, La Rocosa, and Raggaenest, to name a few, are some of the best dive sites on the island, all of which are known for having excellent visibility, making them ideal locations for underwater photography.
