Cascade Waterfall - Giles County, Virginia
This waterfall is impressive, flowing over 21 kilometers while gracefully gliding between the ferocious reefs that plunge straight down to the lake's bottom. The journey to the waterfall begins at the Cascades Recreation area. Visitors can reach the waterfall region by trekking through a more than 3-kilometer path through the Little Stony valley. Even if the wooden steps, corridors, and ice areas surrounding the 61-meter-high cliffs are closed throughout the winter, tourists may still easily gaze and capture beautiful images of the cascade.
When you come here, you'll be surrounded by the genuine beauty of nature, including the sound of running water and the scent of fresh leaves and cool steam. All combine to form a little paradise garden before your eyes. Along with trails to get to the falls, you will have a little bicycle or can choose your own horse, making it a thrilling experience for you to battle nature.
