Shoshone Waterfall- Idaho
Shoshone Falls is known as the Niagara of the West. Shoshone waterfall is 65m high, 11m higher than Niagra waterfall. At the strongest point, the waterfall bed expands to nearly 300 m wide of the gorge, which flows directly into the Snake River below. The amount of water is an important part of determining whether a waterfall has the form of a mist or a wall of water.
The finest seasons to experience the amazing atmosphere here are in the spring and early summer. These are also the most popular times to visit. Kayaking and swimming are two popular sports. What could be more enjoyable than being enveloped in the mist created by rising steam, breathing cool air, and engaging in water sports games?
