Cathedral Of Our Lady Of The Immaculate Conception
The foundation stone for the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, a Roman Catholic cathedral in downtown Maputo, was laid in 1936, and it was finished in 1944. This religious monument in Mozambique was designed by Marcial Simes de Freitas e Costa, a railway director, and Portuguese civil engineer.
