Old Portuguese Fort

Old Portuguese Fort is another one on the list of the most famous historical sites in Mozambique. While there isn't much to see here, it should still be on your to-do list if only to take in the view from the top and inhale the lovely scent of the frangipani trees. It houses a vast collection of cannons from throughout the world, as well as bronze statues of former heroes and art monuments, making it one of Mozambique's oldest historical attractions.
