Cayo Coco

Cayo Coco is the fourth largest island in Cuba and one of the main tourist attractions, located in the province of Ciego de Avila, in the Archipiélago de Sabana-Camagüey, also known as the Jardines del Rey.


Cayo Coco is conceived as a natural tourist park focusing on urbanization to the north and preserving the rest of the territory in its natural state. The main attractions of this island are its beautiful fine sand beaches and crystal clear waters, the most spectacular of which are Playa las Coloradas, Playa Larga, and Playa Flamencos.


Playa Larga is the most famous beach. It's the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing day swimming or resting. It is 2.5 km long and offers spectacular views. Playa Flamencos is a charming beach. It is possible to walk about 200 meters offshore and still stand. That is why sometimes filled with beautiful flamingos. Playa Las Coloradas is a beach that combines nature and history. Playa Pilar Beach is nearby Cayo Guillermo, which is worth a visit. With dunes as high as 15 meters, this amazingly unspoiled beach will leave you speechless.


At all beaches, you can see a diversity of marine fauna, from colorful fishes and starfish to playful dolphins that won't hesitate to come ashore to jump and have fun. All of them are harmless. So you can observe these beautiful species.
