Playa Pilar

Located right at one end of Cayo Guillermo, this beautiful beach is one of the best in Cuba. It's a very comfortable place to visit. Its remote location means you'll often find it completely deserted.

Because it borders a lush national park, there are several beautiful trails to follow among the dunes and mangroves. Many people come here to encounter the majestic flock of flamingos that call this coast home. While not many hotels, restaurants, or bars, a few are scattered here and there. Very close to Playa Pilar, there is a marina where there is a dolphinarium, you can do a variety of activities, from renting a small boat to doing catamaran routes.
