China Overseas Land & Investment was established in Hong Kong in 1979, and in 1992 it was given a listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The company has 44 years of expertise in property development and commercial property management operation, developing businesses in Hong Kong, Macau, and 80 cities in mainland China, in addition to nations such as the United States of America, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Australia, and Singapore.

Because it is the largest office developer and operator in mainland China, the company is in a position to lead the industry in terms of design, construction, development, and operation. The company's design arm, Hua Yi Design, is one of China's top 100 design institutes, and it is a totally owned subsidiary of the Company.
