Cordoba
Cordoba is Argentina's second-largest city, known for its raucous, fun-loving culture, which includes rally car racing, Fernet and coke consumption, and dancing to native cuarteto music. It is located 700 km northwest of Buenos Aires and allows visitors to feel the distinctive features of Cordoba compared to its sister city, Buenos Aires. La Cumbrecita, a hamlet that looks like a lovely village in the German, Austrian, or the Italian Alps, is one of the province's highlights.
Cordoba is also home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Jesuit Block and Estancias, located in various areas of the province. You can visit the Jesuit Block in Cordoba's city center, which is one of Argentina's most historically significant locations, or the Museo Nacional Estancia Jesuitica in Alta Gracia to learn more about the area's historic Jesuit links.
