As with the Bowflex dumbbells, these Core Home Fitness Adjustable Dumbbells scored quite well among our testers. The testers discovered that a simple turn of the handles allowed them to effortlessly modify the weights from activities to exercises.

Still, our testers believe the Bowflex is better in terms of adaptability: while the Bowflex varies in 2.5-pound intervals up to 25 pounds and includes 15 different weights, the Core Home Fitness weights adjust in 5-pound intervals and include only 10 different weights. Our novice testers felt that the 5-pound added weight was a bit tough to build up to week after week - and that they would have liked somewhat smaller step increases.
