Côte Sauvage
Côte Sauvage is the jewel of Pointe-Noire, a lengthy stretch of gorgeous landscape. It's ideal for surfing and long walks, and it's also a great location to just sit and relax. Local and modern international restaurants and pubs, ranging in price, are strewn throughout the road. Obviously, the best cuisine provided here is fish.
The beach is cleaned on a regular basis, so it's always a delight to come; however, avoid going at night when it's deserted and lighted. Sundays are also fairly busy, but whatever the time or day, it's always an excellent location to unwind with a beer. It should be mentioned that the sea may be rather choppy with strong currents, so even if you are a skilled swimmer, it is best to keep near to the beach.
