Coupang
Coupang is a South Korean e-commerce firm headquartered in Seoul and incorporated in Delaware, United States. Bom Kim founded the firm in 2010, and it has since grown to become South Korea's largest online marketplace. It provides baby goods, clothes, cosmetic products, consumables, home goods and décor, books and toys, sporting goods, technology, and tickets to travel and cultural events.
The company's Rocket Delivery network can able to deliver over five million items same-day or next-day. Coupang promises to deliver 99.6% of its orders within 24 hours. With the increased demand for internet buying during the COVID-19 epidemic, the firm has thrived.
Coupang bought the assets of Singaporean streaming service HOOQ in July 2020, establishing the foundation of its Coupang Play streaming service. Following the launch of the service, the company's expansion led it to video streaming distribution. Coupang is frequently referred to as the "Amazon of South Korea" due to its dominant position and corporate size in the South Korean online market.
